Seven Telematics are celebrating their fourth consecutive year of sponsoring Copdock & Old Ipswichian Cricket Club. As Seven Telematics are known around the world for the high quality of their telematics and temperature logging technology, it’s fitting that they have an ongoing partnership with one of the country’s best cricket clubs!
With its roots in the villages of Copdock and Washbrook, Copdock Cricket Club was founded in 1839 and merged with the Old Ipswichians in 1997. Now one of the largest and most successful clubs in the area, it runs four senior men’s teams, a Ladies XI and a junior section which is recognised for setting the standard for junior cricket in Suffolk and beyond.
The relationship between company and club is very hands-on. Earlier this year, Seven Telematics organised the club’s annual golf day fundraiser. The event succeeded in raising just over £2,000 for the club in one day! Seven Telematics are also prepared to put their own cricket skills to the test at special events at the club, such as their recent friendly match with Ipswich-based law firm, Birketts LLP.
Warwick Dunnett, Managing Director of Seven Telematics, said “We are very proud to be sponsors of Copdock & Old Ipswichian Cricket Club for the fourth year running. This is a fabulous, vibrant and friendly club, which really deserves our support.”
Keith Cracknell, Chairman of the Copdock & Old Ipswichian Cricket Club, commented
“As a club, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have secured a sponsor of Seven Telematics’ standing in the community, and who are prepared to go the extra mile for the club by organising the annual fundraising golf day at Rushmere Golf Club.We look forward to the continued proactive support of Seven Telematics for the foreseeable future and offer our sincere thanks for their past and current support.”
